Description

The Laguna Power Heat 500-watt De-Icer creates and maintains a thawed, open area at the surface of the pond, allowing toxic gases from fish respiration and decomposing organic matter to escape. The open area also allows oxygen to re-enter the pond. Safe for plastic and liner ponds, the Pond De-Icer will not harm fish or plants.

Made from stainless steel the heater has an extremly high impact resistance. The unit has dual-zone integrated thermostats to help heat distribution. It is suitable for garden zones 1 to 8 (-6 C / 20 F and below).
